Summary

Dr. Zohair Ahmed is an Assistant Professor in the Department of AI & Data Science at FAST National University (FAST-NUCES), Islamabad. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and Technology from Central South University, China, with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing. His research interests include Natural Language Processing (NLP), Multimodal NLP, Sentiment Analysis, Large Language Models, and Deep Learning. With almost 10 years of combined academic and industry experience, he previously served as a Lecturer at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI). He also worked as a Team Lead and Research Associate at the Predictive Analytics Lab under the HEC Project titled National Center in Big Data & Cloud Computing (NCBC) at SZABIST, Islamabad. Additionally, he led the Web Team at Air University, Islamabad. He has published research in reputable international journals and conferences and serves as a reviewer for leading ACM, IEEE, Springer, and Elsevier journals. He is passionate about bridging academic research with real-world applications and actively seeks collaborations on innovative AI projects.
